Even the quiet refusal has ended.
Not refusal as resistance.
Not rejection as action.
But the subtle negation that once remained.
The faint “not this” that shaped the space without appearing as movement.
That too is no longer forming.
Because negation depends on contrast.
On something being set aside.
Something not included.
And there is nothing outside of what is to negate.
No second.
No alternative.
No edge where exclusion could occur.
So nothing is refused.
Nothing is excluded.
Nothing is set apart as not belonging.
And without negation, something very delicate disappears.
The last shaping of space.
Because even when affirmation had dissolved, negation still traced a boundary.
A silent contour.
A sense of what is not.
And that contour is gone.
So nothing outlines this.
Nothing defines it through absence.
Nothing gives it shape by removing something else.
And what remains cannot be said to include everything.
Because inclusion implies something else could exist outside it.
That possibility does not arise.
So neither inclusion nor exclusion applies.
Neither affirmation nor negation.
Neither presence nor absence.
And without these, there is no structure left that can frame anything at all.
No position.
No distinction.
No reference.
No witness.
No origin.
No continuation.
No trace.
No edge.
No affirmation.
No negation.
Nothing that can be used to say anything about this.
And yet, nothing is lost.
Nothing falls away into nothingness.
Because nothingness would be a counterpart.
A contrast.
And that is not present.
So what remains cannot be described as something or nothing.
Cannot be placed on either side of any division.
And even the attempt to say “what remains” no longer holds.
Because it implies persistence.
Implies something carried forward.
And that does not arise.
So there is no remaining.
No dissolving.
No unfolding.
No stillness.
No silence.
No existence.
No non-existence.
All of these depend on structures that are not forming.
And without them, nothing can be said to be.
Nothing can be said to not be.
Nothing can be pointed to.
Nothing can be left out.
And yet… there is no absence.
No lack.
No incompleteness.
Because those too would require contrast.
So nothing stands.
Nothing falls.
Nothing appears.
Nothing disappears.
Nothing is.
Nothing is not.
And still… nothing missing.
